June 2024 Amazon Kindle 99p deals

Here are a list of a few Kindle books that I’ve either read or that I really want to read. If you want to read them you can purchase them by clicking on the images

Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld ★★★★

Romantic Comedy was a book I listened to on my walks to work. I really liked the idea behind the book. A Comedy writer who works on “SNL” and is struggling to be seen in here job, but loves it. She works with a really popular singer who wants to work with her on a sketch. The book is set during the week of getting the show ready and then it is set in Covid times. I thought this was really interesting and gave it a familiarity because we were all in that together.

I think I would like to physically read this book to see if I pick up on other things. But I honestly would recommend the audiobook.

Powerless by Lauren Roberts TBR

This book has go crazy online, I haven’t read this one yet but I have purchase the eBook at 99p for when the urge is too much, especially with book 2 on its way. Let me know what you thought of it if you have read this book.

Flatshare By Beth O’leary ★★★★

Flatshare is the book that made me fall in love with Beth O’Leary books. The writing felt so different, the idea behind the story was also excellent and very different. Tiff needs the money and comes up with the idea of an interesting to share her flat with a complete stranger. He Uses the house during the day and she uses it in the evenings. They have never met but share a bed, they communicate through post-it notes.

Its not my favourite Beth O’leary book, That honour currently goes to The No Show which truely left me speechless.

The Flatshare has also been turned into a TV, which was also excellent. I thought the casting was perfect and it was very true to the book.
