Say you’ll remember me – Abby Jimenez

Out on April 1st 2025

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pages:416

Synopsis: There might be no such a thing as a perfect guy, but Xavier Rush comes disastrously close. A gorgeous veterinarian giving Greek god vibes-all while cuddling a tiny kitten? Immediately yes. That is until Xavier opens his mouth and proves that even sculpted gods can say the absolute wrong thing. Like, really wrong. Of course, there’s nothing Samantha loves more than proving an asshole wrong…
. . . unless, of course, he can admit he made a mistake. But after one incredible and seemingly endless date-possibly the best in living history-Samantha is forced to admit the truth, that her family is in crisis and any kind of relationship would be impossible. Samantha begs Xavier to forget her. To remember their night together as a perfect moment, as crushing as that may be.

Only no amount of distance or time is nearly enough to forget that something between them. And the only thing better than one single perfect memory is to make a life-and even a love-worth remembering.

My review:

Abby Jimenez can do no wrong in my opinion.

One thing you can be sure of is you will need to have tissues at the ready. This is not the first time Abby has had my heart in headlock.

The chemistry between the two main characters are being felt almost instantly. You can see it even through the argument.

And their first date makes me believe in love (and I secretly with I wish there). It reminds me of my first date with my husband, where I just didn’t want it to end!

If you look up the phrases “right person at the wrong time”  a picture of these two appears!

Now with all Abby Jimenez books family dynamics are a huge part of all the characters. I always like this I her books because often families are completely forgotten about in romance books. Whether or not they are good families they really set the main characters up and give them true motivation for their behaviours!

Thanks to netgalley and piatkus for an eARC of this book. All opinions are my own.
